SlugTerra
During my time at Nerdcorps Entertainment, I had the privilege of being the lead modeler for Slugterra, an action-packed and dynamic boys' cartoon series. In this role, I collaborated closely with the art director and show creators to define the visual style and design of the main characters and key elements of the show. I also spearheaded the development of character rigs tailored to the animation style, ensuring seamless integration within the production pipeline.
My responsibilities extended to coordinating with multiple departments, attending weekly client production meetings to review the modeling team’s progress, managing timelines for asset completion, analyzing scripts, and resolving challenges related to modeling, texturing, and rigging during production. Additionally, I contributed directly to the creation of some of the series’ most memorable characters, including modeling, texturing, and rigging assets such as Kord, Pronto, and other prominent episodic characters.
This experience was both creatively fulfilling and professionally enriching, as I helped bring the vibrant world of Slugterra to life.
